Summer Sale - Our Summer Sale was a fantastic success, bringing together students, staff, and the local community for a fun-filled event. The students worked brilliantly as a team to sell cakes, plants, toys, and a variety of other items. They demonstrated excellent customer service skills, welcoming everyone with polite manners, friendly smiles, and helpful attitudes. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they spoke to customers and worked together throughout the sale. Thanks to everyone's hard work and support from our local community, we raised over £100. Well done to all of our students for making the event such a memorable and successful occasion! 

Eat Club - Scorpio Class have had a fantastic time working with Shaley from the Eat Club charity, creating a variety of delicious meals while developing valuable cooking skills. Throughout the sessions, students learnt new techniques, including how to safely debone a chicken to prepare a traditional roast dinner. They also enjoyed trying new ingredients, such as fresh rhubarb picked straight from our very own school garden. 

The class then stepped up to an exciting challenge by planning, preparing and cooking a special Windrush-themed meal for members of our school community to help celebrate Windrush. Although the event took place on the hottest day of the year, with temperatures soaring in the kitchen, the students showed incredible resilience, teamwork and determination. They supported one another throughout the day and rose to the challenge despite the difficult conditions. 

We are incredibly proud of everything Scorpio Class has achieved. Their enthusiasm, hard work and willingness to try new things have been wonderful to see. A huge well done to all of the students in Scorpio Class, and a sincere thank you to Shaley and everyone at Eat Club for their time, support and for such a memorable learning experience.
